A pic thats been in my head for a while. Done over 2 weeks.

i like all the astros really, and thought it would be cool to put all of them together, so you can see the differences. (there may be other astros i've missed out, but these are the main ones, i think, excluding things like the comic 'pluto' etc).

Also let me point out that these are like stereotypes, if you like, of that particular astro. What i mean is, there are times when the manga astro looks like the 80's astro, and vice versa. i just picked up on the features which i think kept popping up in that series.

Main features i noticed:

*Manga:

His hair bends inwards and sticks out alot. His eyes are often just full black. He has joint lines. He uses his arm rockets alot. Small ears. His dialog is often typical super hero, not really very unique.

*60's:

Has a colour to his eyes, despite the greyscale. still has joint lines. some confusion over how many fingers on each hand. sometimes 3, sometimes 4. still has bendy hair. In the anime he is very sensible, with an english voice which i think suits him. i love his interaction with the audience.

*80's:

Much shorter. He has smaller boots which start lower down his legs, and he can take them off. Still occasional joint lines. Ridiculously high voice, which is cute, but at the same time makes you cringe. not really very super-hero-ish. tiny underwear in proportion to the rest of him. Small ears again.

*2003:

Brighter eyes, much taller. Longer legs with boots pulled right up. pants are longer in proportion to his body. No joint lines. highlights on his body. Sharper hair, which does not bend inwards. hairline is further up his forehead. Hands definitely have 4 fingers, and are larger. feet more rounded, boots dont come off. Bigger ears.

*Movie:

Well...yeah you can see the differences. New design to his boots, he has a buckle to his belt. his underwear is more like black shorts. Lost the cutesie roundness to his cheeks ,and hair sticks out more. More human-like hands.
