i was watching Pokemon the movie 2000' cause i havent seen it in a while, and then after i wanted to draw lugia, cuase he looks so damn cool in that film i especially like when, towards the beginning of the film, you havent seen lugia yet, but the bad guy hints about his presence and calls him 'beast of the sea', and then you see like a dark mysterious scene of some monster swimming deep underwater (but we know its lugia) that was what i was trying to draw here. i really had NO idea what it would turn out like. at one point i even thought of doing it digitally, but i wouldnt know where to start. so i decided to use charcoal and charcoal pencil. there's lots i like about this, but also parts that could be better. but i dont mind, generally i love how it turned out ^^ Oh mighty charcoal stick, I WORSHIP YOU |
