Woah! awesome dinosaurs on their early morning hunt. The male is hungry, he's drooooling. XD there's so much i could say about this pic, i dont know where to begin!

okay, firstly, i did its with a tablet straight into photoshop. it didnt take as long as i thought something like this would. its my first sort of realistic digital pic, and if i was honest, i think its my best digital pic yet. i LOVE it, SOOO much. i didnt think i could pull something like this off at first, but i couldnt have hoped for a better outcome. YAY TARBOSAURS!

i had to make a seperate scales brush...for the scales XD. sorry in places, particularly on the male, the scales look like bubbles XD. i wanted to male to look more jagged and knobbly than the girl. her scales are smoother and skin is lighter...for no real reason. i'm sure there wasnt much difference in real life, but i like distinguishing between genders.

the background is meant to be the gobi desert, in which these predators lived. i did the background completely by hand, no fances cloud brushes or anything this time. just the standard circular brush (set to low opacity in places).

i must admit, i like big scary monster dinosaurs to look like big scary monsters; in other words, i simply had to include the dino spit XD, and i made the teeth a nasty yellowish colour in places, as well as the spikes a scary intimidating red. he's top of the food chain and he knows it! If they have a whopping great set of teeth, i say let them show it off!
